PLAYER TOURNAMENTS
Tournaments are a great way to compete in a fun setting for bragging rights, for charity, etc. You can participate in tournaments others have organized or set-up your own. Mighty Coconut does not organize tournaments but we’re happy to have them hosted on our game with the following guidelines to ensure fairness.
DISCORD COMMUNITY TOURNAMENTS & BEST PRACTICES
The Walkabout Mini Golf™ Discord tournament is held every Sunday. Players of all levels are welcome.
You can play at any of 6 different tee times between 00:00 & 20:00 UTC.
Please follow the instructions below to sign up, and familiarize yourself with the rules before playing.
Each weekly round is played across one easy, and one hard course.
You need to have unlocked the week's hard mode course before the tournament begins.
The courses for the following week's tournament are randomly selected shortly after each round.
When DLC courses become available, they will be required to play in rounds where they are selected.
Each week the played courses are eliminated from the selection until all courses have been played.
The results of each weekly tournament also contribute to a seasonal leader-board.
Each season lasts 3 months (12 rounds) with the top 2/3 of each player's weekly scores being tallied.
This allows players to discard poor results or miss up to 4 rounds each season and remain competitive.
