Mini Golf Meet Cutes

What’s cuter than meeting the love of your life in a VR Mini Golf game? Nothing!

  • Two Walkabout Mini Golf™ players met in-game, both from the UK and through the power of VR mini golf, fell in love. They made it official on the Christmas Eve that they first met IRL. Both shared that approaching people in real life had them feeling shy but when in game they felt safe and confident enough to connect with others.

  • “My gf and I met last March on match.com. During our first texting conversation, we both discovered we owned Quest 2 headsets. We had our first virtual date that evening playing Walkabout Mini Golf. And then the next night. And...we're still together!”

Long distance relationships, spread out families, old friends and the lonely quarantined have all bonded through their mutual love of Walkabout Mini Golf™.

  • “My Husband (63) purchased Walkabout Minigolf in August 2021. We only had one quest at that time and I (60) started playing and totally fell in love with this game. I had to go to Germany all of September and couldn't wait for the quest 2 to be available to buy just so I could get one to take with me on my trip. It was so awesome to be able to play with my husband from across the ocean. It made it so much better to be apart for that time. We played every day then and I still can't be a day without the walkabout. I’ve now joined discord and met so many great players that are always so nice and give me many tips on how to improve my game. Meanwhile we got our two daughters to buy an Oculus Quest each, just so they can play with us also. It really turned into a family affair. So funny they love the game just as much as my husband and I. We love all your courses and always excited for the new ones to come out. You all are doing an amazing job. Thank you for bringing so much fun too our lives especially in these times of social distancing.”

We’ve now been casually enjoying golf date nights approximately every other week or on a new course drop, and have been very much improving our stroke games / racing each other to find the lost balls / fox hunts on the two new courses.”
