Welcome to the new Wristwatch and CocoVision Camera!

With Walkabout Mini Golf’s 34th course “Crystal Lair” launching June 26 come two new sets of tools to enhance the player experience, especially for advanced content creation and more advanced users. Mighty Coconut introduces an enhanced Walkabout Wristwatch for all VR players—including several new quick-access features at launch as well as the “CocoVision” Camera in partnership with LIV via an SDK integration for Quest, Rift and Steam platforms exclusively. Notably, both features build on Walkabout Mini Golf’s one-controller interaction philosophy.

Walkabout Wristwatch

Designed for accessibility and utility, the new watch builds on existing functionality (current-hole personal score, foxhunt clues, and local time) to create a powerful toolset for players to enhance their in-game experience. The initial launch includes:

  • Visual Cursor - Allows the player to quickly select watch functions with their eyes and existing controller.

  • Quick Mute - Whether to mask a sneeze, call, IRL conversion, or… other noises… mute is now one click away.

  • Mighty Magnifier - When accessibility settings have the magnifier checked, a toggle button allows speedy toggling for players to enable and disable the feature for their comfort.

  • Activity-Aware UI - With the growing variety of activities such as foxhunts, slingshot challenges, leafblower, bug hunt, et al, players can now reference their wristwatch for status, clues, and even select collectibles. Includes the ability to toggle off foxhunt clues.

  • Current Player - Players will no longer need to ask whose turn is next as the current player’s name will appear on the wristwatch display in multiplayer games.

  • Instant Replay - Duplicating the B/Y button function on controllers, this gives players an additional way to replay shots

  • Activate Camera - What does that mean? Read on below to find out!

With the Advanced settings, players can:

  • Mute the microphone if you don't want your voice to come through. For all other audio, balance the levels using the in-game Audio Option menu to get the exact mix you want.

  • By default, you're holding the camera in your hand, but you can lock it into position relative to your position in the world or attach it to your head to free up your hand for navigation and gameplay.

  • While not held in hand, point at the camera and hold the Grip button to drag the camera into the position of your preference.

  • Turn on the viewfinder on your wrist to see the camera view even when not holding the camera.

  • Flip the orient to portrait mode for phone-friendly sharing.

  • Zoom in and out to get just the right shot.

  • Increase the Motion Smoothing to reduce any jitter from hand/head movement or turn it off if you want your footage raw.

Note: Variable recording quality. 720p Standard Def and 1080p High Def.

On PCVR, a 4K option is available.
